Joelle-Jude Fontaine

Joelle-Jude Fontaine, Program Office, joined the Foundation in 2001 and oversees funding in all of its program areas.

Ms. Fontaine has been an active member of New York Regional Association of Grantmakers (NYRAG) and currently serves on its Board of Directors and is Chair of the Increasing Diversity in Philanthropy Committee (IDP).  During her tenure with the IDP committee Ms. Fontaine has worked to develop programs designed to inform NYRAG members of effective strategies for establishing more inclusive grant making practices.  Ms. Fontaine is also an active member of Grantmakers for Children Youth and Families (GCYF) and Co-Chaired the 2007 Annual Conference.  Prior to coming to the Foundation, Ms. Fontaine worked extensively in the area of youth development programming, primarily focusing on urban at-risk youth.

Ms. Fontaine obtained a bachelor of arts in political science from the University of California at Berkley and a Masters of Public Administration from Baruch College.
