Wendy S. Masi

Wendy Masi, Ph.D., is a developmental psychologist, educator, lecturer, consultant, and researcher specializing in early childhood. Dr. Masi currently serves as the Dean of Nova Southeastern University’s Mailman Segal Institute of Childhood Studies, a nationally renowned institution devoted to strengthening families and enhancing the ability of parents and caregivers to foster the healthy development of children. Dr. Masi is a frequent presenter at national and local conferences and is the recipient of many awards. She has been interviewed on NBC’s Today, Later Today, and Weekend Today Shows. She is an associate author of Dr. Marilyn Segal’s best selling series Your Child at Play and is the author of Baby Play & Toddler Play.

Dr. Masi is the Vice Chair of the A. L. Mailman Family Foundation.  She serves on the Board of Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation/Memorial Foundation where she is the founder of the Love Jen Cancer Fund. She is also founder and Board Member of Gilda’s Club South Florida and a founder and Board Member of The Boggy Creek Gang Camp, a camp in Orlando that provides summer camp experiences and family weekends for children with chronic illnesses.

Dr. Masi received her undergraduate degree from Emory University and her Ph.D. in developmental psychology from Nova Southeastern University.
