System-Wide Change

Grants made in this program area promote coordinated, comprehensive, continuous systems of care for young children.  We have funded the:

• Promotion of policies that support comprehensive systems of early care and education
• Examination and development of financing mechanisms to sustain quality and accessible services
• Improvement of teacher preparation systems
• Creation of strategic plans for mental health services for children 0-3
