Our Philosophy

Our grantmaking is informed by learning from others. Our trustees and staff work with the broader funding community and the early childhood field in order to inform our activities and promote our mission. We seek opportunities for mutual learning and strategic alliances. We convene and participate in symposia and conferences. We encourage our grantees to join forces and create partnerships to strengthen their work.

The Foundation is a member of Grantmakers for Children Youth and Families (GCYF), the New York Regional Association of Grantmakers, the Early Childhood Funders Collaborative, the Council on Foundations, the Association of Small Foundations, Grant Managers Network and the Donor's Forum of South Florida.
